Changes and details of this years Services
Service 24 Harrogate - Hempsthwaite - Pateley Bridge, The Winter Sunday service will continue to operate until 25th April, but will now be operated by Hutchinsons rather than Harrogate & District. The Summer Sunday service will operate from 2nd May until 26th September, with minor changes to the times. This is an earlier start than last year when it started at Spring Bank. Connections can be made with services 25, 802 & 812 at Pateley Bridge and some journeys operate as through buses to Middlesmoor on service 25.
Service 25 Pateley Bridge - How Stean Gorge - Middlesmoor, This summer sunday service runs from 2nd May to 26th September this year, last year it ran from Spring Bank to September. It will be run by Hutchinsons rather than Stephensons and there will no longer be through journeys to Ripon. The service will run every 1-2 hours, and connections can be made at Pateley Bridge onto services 25, 802 & 812
Service 26 York - Harrogate - Pateley Bridge - Grassington, This service previously operated by Stephensons will not run this year, alternative buses from York are available on service 812 and from Harrogate to Pateley Bridge on service 24
Service 33 Leeds - Ilkley - Bolton Abbey, This summer sunday extension operated by First Leeds will not run this year. Services 800 & 805 continue to provide links from Ilkley to Bolton Abbey
Service 67A Keighley - Skipton - Grassington, This service operates on sundays all year round and continues to be operated by Keighley & District unchanged
Service 159 Richmond - Leyburn, This service is run as last year by Keighley & District between 11th April and 31st October, but now only provides one journey each way. The other return journey is now run by Arriva Yorkshire and only runs from 2nd May to 26th September
Service 200 Leeds - Bradford - Keighley - Skipton - Lancaster - Morecambe, This long established service operated by Keighley and District on Summer Saturdays and Sundays will not run this year
Service 800 Leeds - Ilkley - Bolton Abbey - Grassington - Hawes, As previous years this service runs for the full summer period which is the 11th April to 31st October. This year it will be run by Stephensons rather than Arriva Yorkshire and therefore the extension to/from Wakefield is withdrawn. It will run approximately an hour earlier than last year in the morning and will serve Leeds Station Interchange. The return journey will run approximately an hour later
Service 801 Wakefield - Leeds - Bradford - Ilkley - Bolton Abbey - Grassington - Hawes - Keld, This summer saturday service operated by Arriva will not operate this year
Service 802 Wakefield - Bradford - Leeds - Otley - Pateley Bridge - Ripon - Leyburn, This service commences earlier this year and runs from 2nd May to 26th September. It will now be run by Arriva Yorkshire rather than Keighley & District and therefore now runs to/from Wakefield via Dewsbury. Minor times changes, there is also an extra short journey from Ripon to Lightwater Valley operated by Hutchinsons
Service 803 Wakefield - Bradford - Leeds - Harrogate - Ripon - Leyburn - Hawes, Due to reduced funding this service has been withdrawn except for the first Sunday of every month between May and September when it is funded by the Yorkshire Dales Public Transport User Group. Continues to be run by Arriva Yorkshire but to new times
Service 804/210 Leeds - Bradford - Keighley - Skipton - Malham, Now operated by Hutchinsons and therefore no longer runs to/from Wakefield. During mid-summer extra journeys are operated between Skipton and Malham operated by Stagecoach in Lancashire. There is also an extra service from Keighley to Malham operated by Jacksons of Silsden
Service 804T Malham - Malham Tarn, This is a new summer sunday service which operates every 30 minutes and is run by Jacksons of Silsden
Service 805 Wakefield - Leeds - Ilkley - Grassington - Kettlewell - Hawes, This service continues to be run by Arriva Yorkshire and also replaces the Bike Bus service 810. Extra journeys operate during high summer and the are also various short journeys within the dales
Service 806 Wakefield - Bradford - Ilkley - Grassington, This service will not run this year
Service 807 Keighley - Ribblehead - Hawes - Leyburn - Richmond, service operates as last year but with new times, continues to be operated by Keighley & District
Service 808 Wakefield - Leeds - Ilkley - Skipton - Ingleton - Keswick, This service will not run thus year
Service 810/820 Wakefield - Leeds - Grassington - Kettlewell - Malham, This DalesBus service will now run as part of service 805
Service 812 York - Ripon - Grassington, This service will this year run through from York to Ripon and then onto Grassington replacing withdrawn service 26 and will be run by Hutchinsons rather than Reliance with a new timetable
Service 830 Darlington - Richmond - Reeth, This is a new service for 2004 operated by Arriva North East
Service 843 Preston - Blackburn - Burnley - Skipton - Grassington, This is a new service which will run during high summer operated by Stagecoach in Lancashire. It replaces service X43 which is withdrawn
Service X43 Manchester - Burnley - Skipton - Grassington, This Burnley & Pendle extension to the dales will not run this year but the Manchester to Burnley section will still run with connections can be made at Burnley onto service 843
