Superbus has
been operating in Leeds since 25 September 1995. It features Guided Busways and
Bus Lanes along the North Leeds Scott Hall Road Corridor
A Park & Ride site is located at King Lane in Alwoodley, Services 35, 71 and X35 serve the site
The North Leeds Superbus is a partnership between First Leeds, Metro and Leeds City Council

Orginally the Scott Hall Road Guided Busway was operated by standard floor Alexander Strider bodied Scania N113s in a special Blue and Silver "Superbus" livery, These were replaced in 1998 by 21 Scania L113 Wright Axcess Ultralow's 61058-61078 (S644/445-8BSG, R449-52JSG, R453-64JFS) which operate most journeys on the Scott Hall Road Guided Busway. Additional single deckers of the same type 60150/5/6 (N416ENW, P435/6YSH) were transferred from First Huddersfield in 2004. Some journeys are operated by Volvo B7TL Alexander ALX400 double deck buses using any from the East Leeds batch shown below. All services on the Scott Hall Road Guided Busway are operated by First Leeds' Cherry Row Depot

Second Guided Busway scheme opened on Tuesday 6th November 2001. The 'Elite'
scheme features sections of Guided Busways and Buslanes on the York Road and
Selby Road in East Leeds between Leeds City Centre and the Cross Gates area

The
A641 Manchester Road Quality Bus Initiative in Bradford opened on Thursday 31st
January 2002. A full package of Bus Lanes and Guided Busways in the centre of
the road are features of this scheme in South Bradford
The Bradford Scheme also includes six special bus shelters including two 'Super Shelters' which include wind turbines to power the heated seats
