Midland Mainline operate Intercity services from London St. Pancras to Sheffield. Services in West Yorkshire include occasional services which extend to/from Leeds via Wakefield Westgate
The current service pattern is formed of 4 departures per hour from London St Pancras and these operate as follows:
:00 - Semi-fast service to Derby, via Luton Airport Parkway, Bedford, Wellingborough, Kettering, Market Harborough, Leicester, Loughborough and Long Eaton. This is operated using 4 car Meridians (5).
:25 - Fast service to Sheffield, via Leicester, Derby and Chesterfield. This is operated using High Speed Trains (5) and 8 car Meridians (1).
:30 - Semi-fast service to Nottingham, via Luton, Bedford, Wellingborough, Kettering, Market Harborough, Leicester, Loughborough and Beeston. This is operated using 4 car Meridians (5).
:55 - Fast service to Nottingham, via Leicester and (every 2 hours) Loughborough. This is operated using High Speed Trains (1) and 8 car Meridians (4).
Daily services also extend to stations to Burton-on-Trent and Barnsley via Meadowhall. The line between Sheffield and Nottingham via Alfreton and Langley Mill is also served occasionally, A special summer saturday service also operates from London to Scarborough, via Sheffield, Doncaster and York.
Midland Mainline do not operate any stations in West Yorkshire. The nearest Midland Mainline managed station is Sheffield

As mentioned above, only occasional Midland Mainline services operate into West Yorkshire, most services throughout the day start at Sheffield, Those services which do serve Leeds and Wakefield Westgate are as follows:

ROLLING STOCK:
The core "Intercity" services operated by Midland Mainline are operated by 18 High speed trains, These are formed by 5 standard coaches, a buffet/restaurant car and 2 First Class coaches. There aretwo class 43 power cars at each end. Two sets are "Pullman" sets which have 3 First Class coaches and only 4 standard coaches
Also operated are 16 4-car and 7 8-car "Meridian" diesel multiple units.
